Well, mental note: if/when we order any more bugs, we'll make sure it's late enough in the season to let it go once it's ready. We ordered the butterfly catepillars this winter. Shane had 4 Pink Lady butterflies that formed. It was too cold to let them go so we had to keep them for many weeks. They died off one by one, with one left. Finally the weather was warm enough to let it go! Here's some pictures from that glorious moment!

What CUTE kids! And that's not just because I'm their grandma! I love the Easter pics and Shane's "letting free" of the butterfly. Grandpa said to tell him he has seen a few frogs in our yard lately so he might want to go frog hunting when he is here next.
