Our sweeties by the tree.

Kaylie had a wonderful 7th birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our dear sweet girl. She had her closest friends come over and they all had a lot of fun. They played Twister and then each made a beaded bracelet, followed by some yummy cupcakes and opening of gifts.

Our Princess Tea Party

It's been a while since I updated our family blog! We've been busy here, just surviving the day to day life. I was honored to get chance to babysit our little niece, Annabelle last week. Here are some pictures from that.

Election night 2008!

Our Election party! Lynneita and Jason came over to celebrate and wait for the results. History was made last night. They printed up a bunch of signs to pin on our shirts and little signs on sticks. It was a hoot. It was a good night!

Halloween '08

We had a smashing good time! My sister Lynneita and her husband Jason joined us for some Halloween fun. Lynneita is a bag of jellybeans and Jason is a leaf blower. LOL. They are too crazy! Our kids had a lot, I mean a LOT of fun too. And waaaaay too much candy! :) It was a good night.

Busy Fall!

Hi everyone!
I have not blogged in a little while. I have no pictures this time, just little updates on what is going on here. These next couple of weeks are busy here. My sister, Tammie, and I are having another craft sale this Saturday, at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids. So we are busy gearing up for that. It's an all day event from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tammie is coming over to spend the night on Friday night, as we need to be at the Mall to set up at 8:15. Waaaay too early for me, so hopefully this sale will make it worth it!!

Also, as many of you know, our good friend and neighbor- Andy Plank, was diagnosed with ALS in the Fall of 2005. We are helping with organizing another benefit fundraiser for him and his family. That will be on November 1st, from 5:30-8 pm - a spegetti /bread dinner and drinks (sorry no alchohol this time) since it's at the Methodist Church on Jones Blvd here in North Liberty. Just down the road from where we live. There will also be a silent auction with lots of goodies, but a smaller amount from last time.

Jason and I are going to go out for an evening! That's right, my other sister,Lynneita, will babysit for us while we go to an Irish Concert in Iowa City. We are very excited and looks like we got pretty good seats. That will be on Nov. 6th.

On November 22, Tammie and I, again, are doing another craft sale - this time in Pleasant Hill which is not far from Des Moines. This will be the same place as our very first craft sale, and hopefully we will do great at! We are very excited to have found something we both love to do.

Here's hoping you all have a wonderful Autumn!

A Beautiful day for a nature walk

Fun at Kent Park. The weather could have been a little cooler though. 86 Degrees is not October weather!

Fall is here!

I took Gracelyn to our local Apple Orchard today with the MOMS Club. We had a really great time bonding and just being together. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from our fun day! Jason hasn't seen the pictures yet, he is off to Minnesota today through Thursday.
