Shane is in 3rd grade and Kaylie is in 1st grade. They love their new teachers and classrooms. Van Allen Elementary only goes to 6th grade, and this year they had 600 students enrolled in K-6th. That is the population of the town of New Hartford! :) Shane has a large class of 26 students. Van Allen does not have enough classrooms to accommodate all the students so some classes are held outside in trailers. This town is growing like crazy, we have seen a lot of growth in the 13 years of living here. Here are pictures of Shane and Kaylie's first day of school on Monday.

Wow! Your school is growing so fast and how did Shane and Kaylie get so big.
Love those "first day of school" pictures!! Shane and Kaylie both look so cute in their outfits and with their backpacks on. I love Kaylie's skirt. In the last pic it looks like Gracie is trying to hurry so she can get on the bus and go to school too!!
